 2. Pathobiology, pathophysiology, clinico-pathologic correlation, and histopathologic diagnosis of human neoplasms (cancer) and preneoplastic conditions.

 From 07/1998 to 12/2000 Dr. Torres was Staff Pathologist, Assistant Professor and Director of the Gastrointestinal-Liver Pathology Division at Hermann   Hosp-UTHSC in Houston, TX. 

 From 01/2001 to 03/2012, Dr. Torres was Staff Pathologist and Director of Quality Assurance at Caris/Miraca LifeSciences, in Dallas TX, in which Dr. Torres   was instrumental in creating a rather unique model of GI sub-specialty-focused laboratory, which during his 12 yrs tenure became one of the largest   private national Anatomic Pathology laboratories.  Dr. Torres contributed to the success and growth of the operation, with the principle of providing the   highest standards of patient care and service to GI clinicians.
 From 05/2013 to 05/2015, Dr. Torres was Staff Pathologist at the Anatomic Pathology Division of the North-Shore-LIJ Health Care System in New York.

 From​ 06/2015 to 12/2019, Dr. Torres was Per Diem Staff Pathologist at Greater DFW Pathologists, in Dallas TX

 From 01/2018 to 12/2018, Dr. Torres was Per Diem Staff Pathologist at the Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology Division of the Univ of Vermont Medical   center, in Burlington VT.

 From 01/2019 to 12/2019, Dr. Torres was Per Diem Staff Pathologist at the Gastrointestinal Pathology Division of Boston Scientific Laboratory, in Atlanta GA

 Since 06/2016, Dr. Torres is Staff Pathologist at Alliance Health Sciences, a private multi-specialty laboratory in Dallas and Houston, TX.

 Since 01/2019, Dr, Torres is Staff Pathologist and Medical Director of GALA Pathology Laboratory and TCRS Pathology Laboratory, both Gastrointestinal   Pathology laboratories in Texas.

​ Since 03/2001, Dr. Torres is the sole proprietor of "Expert Pathology Consultation Services", which provides Pathology Expert Witness services nationwide   as well as diagnostic surgical pathology services to multiple ambulatory surgical clinics and endoscopy centers from several states.
